One of Bangkok's best Golf Courses
This Golf Club is a one-of-a-kind unique 18-hole course. Situated in the Nakhon Pathom province west of Bangkok.
The Course sits in former rice paddies, with great fresh air. This Bangkok golf course is almost the complete opposite to others around the city. It measures a short 6,850 yards from the black tees. Then there is the design layout, rather than having a traditional front and back nine, Nikanti is made up of three loops of six, each one starting and finishing at the main clubhouse. Finally, each circuit comprises two par-3s, two par-4s, and two par-5s. Having an equal number of par-3, par-4 and par-5 holes is somewhat strange, but makes his course different, but still with a Par-72 , and it gives golfers the chance to play a good variety of holes during the 18 being played.
With more than the standard number of par-3 and par-5 holes, will give golfers many more scoring opportunities than usual. Despite the “extra” scoring holes, this course is a course with a significant challenge, even for professional golfers. The fairways, while being broad, feature plenty of elevation changes. Flat lies are the exception rather than the norm at this course. With many of the greens being strongly undulated, they run fast (especially downhill), and are guarded by bunker complexes. With water coming into play, especially on the par-5s.
Many of the Bangkok golf courses, get criticized for their lack of elevation change, but that’s not the case at this Golf Club, club selection is critical with the prevailing winds that sweeping through the valleys that dot the course, This Course rewards accurate shots over distance more than most golf courses.
