The Resort & Golf Club offers 36 holes of golf. The golf course is amongst the favourites to be played by both residents and visitors to the area. The course is situated inland amongst farms & fruit orchids on a large parkland shelf. For many of the golfers who play at Lakeview the opinion of most of them, is that this is the most scenic and pleasant golf course in the Hua Hin area.
The Lake View Original A&B Course features small creeks and a large lake dividing the course into two. With the mature lined tree fairways making blind shots to some of the greens, undulating fairways, and several doglegs, this course will test the skills of the even low handicap golfer. The outstanding long par 3, 14th hole, which is particularly tricky and features a tee box on one small island and the green on another island 210 yards away - all surrounded by water. Which makes this course a natural balanced test for golfers of all handicaps.
The Desert Course (Course C) is uniquely designed to be different from the A&B Course. Mixing these nine holes with nine on from the A&B Course, provides most golfers with an extremely fulfilling round of golf. The Links Course designed by Golfplan’s Ronald Fream & David Dale (Course D) opened in late 2006, adding a further nine holes to the existing course layout. The course plays over a fairly open area with few trees between the holes, earning the “D Course” its Links name.
The clubhouse at Lake View although not spectacular offers a pleasant ambiance with tasty cuisine and plenty of beverages available to order. Spacious changing facilities for both Men & Women are near to the first hole, a grass driving range, and short game practice areas are available. The clubhouse features a pool with golf course views and on-site spa. An on-site 3-star golf resort is a popular option for golf groups from Asia and tourists alike. The Resort is located too far from town, making it difficult for Golfers to enjoy any of Hua Hin restaurants and nightlife, if staying at the resort.
